Project Manager

Job Overview We are recruiting a Project Manager to join our team to oversee civil construction, winter access/freeze-down, and forestry projects throughout Alberta. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of project execution, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with field leadership, clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, the Project Manager will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policies. Responsibilities * Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate projects from initiation through completion in accordance with schedules, specifications, budgets, and contract requirements. * Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls. * Prepare project schedules, establish milestones, and monitor progress to ensure successful project delivery. * Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet project objectives. * Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders. * Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving issues that may impact safety, schedule, quality, or cost. * Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents, project specifications, and subcontract agreements. * Foster strong working relationships with clients, consultants, field personnel, and subcontractors. * Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, environmental requirements, and regulatory standards. * Support estimating, project planning, and business development activities as required. Requirements * Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. * PMP designation or other recognized project management certification is considered an asset. * Minimum five (5) years of project management experience within civil construction, earthworks, forestry, winter access, industrial construction, or the energy sector. * Experience managing unit rate and/or lump sum contracts. * Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and project controls. * Previous experience as a Construction Supervisor or Field Superintendent is considered an asset. * Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills. * Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. * Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs * Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, including cannabis. HSE - Field Sales Representative

Summary: The Field Sales Representative will grow sales and increase company profits by cultivating current customers and recruiting new customers. The representative will increase profitability by promoting products, providing technical support and conducting training to new and repeat customers within an assigned territory. Duties/Responsibilities: * Identify, qualify and secure sales opportunities. * Generate new sales with existing customers and develop opportunities with new customers within assigned territory. * Develop, nurture and maintain close working relationships with the decision-makers and key influencers. * Utilize tools (Quote Log, CRM, Salesforce, weekly meetings, etc.) to ensure that Operations and Management are kept informed on sales, upcoming projects and activity in a timely manner. * Develop weekly / monthly / annual sales and forecasting reports. * Regularly visit job sites to measure or provide client services. * Gather competitive information and other market information regularly while interacting cooperatively with other members of the sales team. * Provide market, customer and competitor intelligence during quote preparation and evaluation. * Practice honesty and integrity in customer and vendor relation. * Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors. * Perform other duties as assigned. Employees Safety Responsibilities: * Be familiar with and work in accordance with health and safety legislation and company policies and procedures. * Do everything reasonable to ensure the health and safety of the workers under their supervision. * Inform workers of any known workplace hazards and existing controls to mitigate the risk. * Involve the workers in the hazard identification and control process for that site. * Ensure all workers under their direction are: adequately trained in the given task, knowledgeable of the equipment and effectively supervised throughout the job. * Maintain regular safety communication with workers and observe safe work practices. * Notify management and participate in the investigation process when an incident or imminent danger report occurs on their site. Required Qualifications: * 3+ years related industry experience. * Extensive knowledge of Industrial safety equipment and service is an asset. * Business degree or equivalent training. * Possess exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet established deadlines. * Strong relationship and communications skills. * Experience with formal sales process.(Action Selling, IMPACT, Dale Carnegie, etc.) * Required Certifications \& Training: * H2S Alive * Standard 1st - Aid / CPR * Valid unrestricted license with full driving privileges in the province of issue for the specified class of vehicle to be operated on behalf of the company or a higher class of license than that of the vehicle to be operated.
