About the Job
Must be available for a variety of shifts: * Must have flexible availability including weekends and holidays. * Variety of shifts (7-3, 3-11 \& 11-7) Responsibilities: * Greet guests as they arrive and during their stay * Check guests in and out of the hotel * Ask for identification and ensure that the provided credentials are accurate * Operate hotel switchboard, take calls provide information, and transfer calls * Provide guests with room keys * Take reservations over the telephone, through emails, and in person * Answer questions regarding the hotel’s services, charges, and travel directions * Provide guests with directions around the hotel * Balance the end of the shift * Tidy Lobby plus other side duties as assigned * Prepare housekeeping reports for the following day * Prepare and set up breakfast items in the Breakfast Room * Able to work alone and handle guest complaints or issues QUALIFICATIONS and Experience: * Warm and caring personality; previous customer service experience is an asset * Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming * Attention to Detail. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner * Strong computer skills * Currently Eligible to work in Canada * MUST be Bondable * If requested, must be able to supply a background check * Preference given to those with First Aid * Preference given to those with SynXis Hub experience * ONLY those selected for an interview will be contacted * NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Application question(s): * Are you currently residing in or near Hinton?
