Customer Service and Food Preparation Associate

Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Customer Service and Food Preparation Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on sanitation and safety standards. Responsibilities * Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling * Provide friendly and attentive customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries * Manage cashier duties, including processing payments accurately and upselling menu items when appropriate * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards * Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations * Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed * Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery * Uphold high standards of sanitation, including proper cleaning of equipment and workspaces * Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts Experience * Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required * Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus * Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices is advantageous * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers * Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations * Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or the food industry is highly desirable * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail * Prior kitchen experience or food industry background will be beneficial for success in this role * English speaking, writing and understanding required * Languages considered an asset are Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi​ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $2,500.00-$2,900.00 per month Benefits: * Casual dress Work Location: In person
