Booking Coordinator (Scheduling) Terms of Employment: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (37.5 hrs/week) Location: Edmonton Main Office Posting Date: September 11, 2026 Closing Date: Until a suitable candidate is found What We Offer * Paid training, orientation, and ongoing professional development opportunities * Stable employment with opportunities for career growth and advancement * A respectful and inclusive workplace that promotes teamwork and values diversity * Recognition for long-term service and outstanding contributions * Competitive compensation * Non-registered Group RSP matching program available to qualifying employees after one year of employment, with contributions adjusted based on length of service * Comprehensive benefits package available to qualifying employees after one year of employment * Meaningful work that directly supports employees and clients while contributing to service excellence across the Edmonton region Key Responsibilities * Coordinate casual and relief staffing to ensure client service needs are consistently met * Schedule employees and respond promptly and effectively to staffing changes * Provide direction, support, and guidance to Community Support Workers throughout their shifts * Collaborate with managers, coordinators, and employees to address and resolve scheduling challenges * Maintain accurate scheduling records and related documentation * Respond proactively to urgent staffing requirements while maintaining a high standard of customer service * Utilize agency software to manage employee information and scheduling requirements * Foster teamwork, professionalism, and positive working relationships * Perform other related duties as required Qualifications & Requirements * Post-secondary education in Health Care, Rehabilitation, Human Services, or a related field is required. * Previous experience in a community-based service environment is considered an asset. * Proficiency in computer systems, data entry, scheduling software, and administrative processes. * Strong organizational, time management, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment. * Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing operational needs. * A clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check must be completed prior to the commencement of employment.
