Sales Representative

About the Opportunity* Acme Carting is a locally owned Canadian waste hauling company serving businesses throughout Southern Alberta. We are currently looking for a motivated Sales Representative to help expand our customer network and strengthen relationships within the local community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, working independently, and helping businesses find dependable service solutions. You’ll play an important role in introducing our services to new customers while maintaining a professional and customer-focused experience. What You’ll Be Doing* * Connect with local businesses, contractors, and commercial clients to build new relationships * Generate leads and identify opportunities for waste and bin service solutions * Visit customer sites to assess needs and recommend appropriate services * Prepare pricing quotes, follow up on inquiries, and support the sales process through completion * Maintain organized records of customer interactions, prospects, and sales activity * Represent the company in a professional manner and promote reliable customer service * Support ongoing growth initiatives and contribute ideas to improve sales efforts Qualifications* * Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles preferred * Experience in construction, transportation, waste services, or related industries is considered an asset * Strong interpersonal and communication abilities * Able to work independently and manage time effectively * Organized, dependable, and self-motivated * Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required * Access to a reliable personal vehicle for local travel * Familiarity with roll-off bins or waste management services is beneficial but not mandatory What We Provide* * Competitive earnings with performance-based potential * Training on company services, pricing, and processes * Friendly and supportive small-team environment * Opportunity to contribute directly to a growing local business * Company events * On-site parking Additional Information* Job Type: Full-Time Required Experience: * Sales: minimum 1 year Language Requirement: * English Work Location: * In person – Calgary, Alberta If you’re looking for a flexible sales opportunity with a locally operated company where your contributions are recognized, we’d love to hear from you.
