Overview We are seeking a professional and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations efficiently. This role requires strong administrative skills, familiarity with medical office procedures, and proficiency with electronic medical records systems. Prior experience in a medical office setting is highly preferred. The Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and positive patient experiences. Responsibilities * Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment * Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages * Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately using systems * Collect patient demographics, insurance details, and co-payments during check-in and check-out * Assist with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations * Maintain organized front desk area and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly * Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and correspondence * Support clinical staff by preparing patient charts and documentation as needed * Ensure compliance with privacy policies and confidentiality standards Skills * Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems * Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology relevant to healthcare settings * Prior experience working in Medical or Dental Office settings demonstrating familiarity with front desk operations * Excellent communication skills, including experience managing multi-line phone systems * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping * Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills * Familiarity with office equipment and basic administrative procedures This position offers an engaging work environment where your organizational skills and healthcare knowledge will contribute significantly to patient care quality. Our shift hours are: * Mondays 8:00am - 2:00pm * Tuesdays 7:30am - 4:00pm * Wednesdays 8:00am - 2:00pm * Thursdays 7:30am - 4:00pm * Fridays 7:30am - 4:00pm Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care Work Location: In person
